ASU Online "Pearson" Landing Pages
ASU Online needed many marketing landing pages — the pages prospective students see when exploring a degree program — that change often with new programs, copy and campaigns, all while staying consistent, accessible and safe to ship without breaking the Request for Information (RFI) form that captures student leads.

Main features
What the platform does
Reusable page families
Shared layouts for each program type: undergraduate, graduate, transfer-friendly, brand campaigns and program suites.
Content separated from design
Writers update wording and images without touching the underlying code.
Automatic program data
Factual program details are pulled in and reused everywhere, so numbers stay consistent across pages.
Smart RFI form
Validates what a visitor types (real email, real phone) and safely hands their interest off to ASU's systems.
Pre-built (static) pages
Assembled ahead of time instead of on every visit, for fast, dependable loading.
Built-in accessibility
Accessibility is verified automatically so the site is usable by everyone.
How it played out
Challenges, approach and results
High volume, high change
ASU Online needs many landing pages that change often (new programs, new copy, new campaigns).
Consistency checks
All code is auto-formatted to look the same regardless of author, so reviews focus on what changed, not formatting.
Ship with confidence
The team can ship changes frequently and safely, without fear of silently breaking the front door.
High stakes
These pages are the front door for capturing student interest; a broken form means lost leads and lost revenue.
An early warning system
Code is scanned for risky patterns and broken "contracts" between parts of the site before it ever runs.
Less duplication
Shared templates and content mean less duplicated work and fewer places for errors to hide.
One consistent brand
Every page must feel like one polished, trustworthy experience.
A local gatekeeper
Checks run automatically on each developer's machine first; broken work can't leave the building.
Consistent brand look
Every page shares one consistent, polished look.
Many hands
With lots of people making frequent edits, one small change can accidentally break a completely different page.
Visual "spot the difference"
New page versions are compared pixel-by-pixel against reference screenshots to catch styling glitches tests alone would miss.
Fast, reliable loads
Pages load fast and reliably because they're pre-built.
Manual work doesn't scale
Building each page by hand would be slow and error-prone.
A large automated test suite
Unit tests (form validation, lead hand-off), component tests (correct rendering), end-to-end tests (automated walkthroughs of every page family), accessibility tests (WCAG) and SEO checks.
Accessible to everyone
The site is usable by everyone, with accessibility verified automatically.

Platform overview
Inside the finished platform
Impact
This project turns a messy, high-change, high-stakes need — dozens of always-evolving landing pages that must never break — into a repeatable, well-guarded system. The real deliverable is trust: prospective students get a smooth, accessible experience, and ASU Online gets a front door that keeps working, change after change, without constant firefighting.

- Problem
- ASU Online needed many marketing landing pages — the pages prospective students see when exploring a degree program — that change often with new programs, copy and campaigns, all while staying consistent, accessible and safe to ship without breaking the Request for Information (RFI) form that captures student leads.
- Project scope
- Built reusable page-family templates (undergraduate, graduate, transfer-friendly, brand campaign and program-suite layouts) with content separated from design and program data pulled from a single source of truth, plus a validated RFI form that hands visitor details to ASU's follow-up systems. Pages are pre-built (static) for fast, reliable loading, with automated formatting, static-analysis contract checks, pixel-by-pixel visual-regression screenshots, and a large automated test suite (unit, component, end-to-end, accessibility and SEO) enforced locally before code ships. Stack: Vue.js, Nuxt 4, TypeScript, Playwright, Vitest, Sentry, ASU RDS component library, ESLint.
- Verified results
- 5+ page families supported, 40 automated test files, 350 automated test cases, and 90% required code coverage.
